Artists and writers are thought to favor the right brain. In the analysis of my responses to the questions in this little survey/test, apparently my answers showed an almost equal use of both halves with the slight advantage going to my left brain. Definitely some of these descriptions apply to my assessment of things in life. I might "focus on rules and regulations", but it's only to know whether or not I intend to rebel against them.
Father, please keep my brain working for the duration. As limited as it is, I do want to continue to use it for your glory. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
About all those above characteristics apply to me. I love math and spreadsheets. Once considered teaching math--tutored math & chemistry in college. I also tutored English but was rotten at it. You'd think I'm left-brained.
But then my gifts are all in the arts--literature, music, sketching--and I love theater.
Our brains are a wondrous thing, aren't they?

That's fascinating, Bren. You can cross out anything mathematical in my brain. Or mechanical. Does not compute. I love to act but have had limited opportunities and writing is it for me. Love music but am decidedly ungifted in anything but listening to it.
You're a multi-talented lady, Brenda Bryant Anderson!

The brain is an amazing thing. I love logic and orderly progression of things and I'm a data geek, but I suck at math. I am also fascinated by the fact that I probably am the world's most clueless person when it comes to understanding music, yet I have a deep desire to learn to play the banjo--that isn't at all logical. But it IS true. LOL!

I think your desire to play and be successful at playing the banjo will win out over everything else because, as you say, "the brain is an amazing thing". ;)
