. . . and what? A hard place? Oblivion? Limbo?
It's a somewhat vicious world out there. Where? In the realm of Christian fiction readers. Hell has no fury like an offended Christian reader. And I'm fairly sure the devil celebrates the divisive conversations over one little romance novel.
I thought I wrote Christian fiction. The gospel is there. The worldly characters portrayed without judgment are there. The faithful Christians are there. But, wait! There are - I've learned - "vulgar, crass, and low standard" words and references in my stories. Unacceptable. With a capital U.
So what does that make me as a writer? As a Christian? Questionable at best, I guess. To some.
Lord Jesus, you know me. Help me to always follow you. No matter what. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
